A Message From The School Social Workers
Hi Warriors!
Our names our Ms. Thomsen and Ms. Wilburn. We are the school social workers here at Hunters Lane. We wanted to introduce ourselves and explain what we do as school social workers. We are here to support you! We provide individual counseling as well basic needs such as food, clothing, or school supplies.
We can provide individual counseling for a variety of different concerns including:
- Mental Health Issues Anger
- Management Trauma
- Peer Relationships
- Conflict Resolution
- Grief
- Abuse/Neglect
- School Adjustment
- Family Changes
- Teen Pregnancy
- Homelessness
- Substance Abuse
- Hospitalization of family
- Incarceration of family
- Social Skills
